Every day members of a religious minority in nations like Iran, North Korea, and Syria are imprisoned, tortured, and executed. Their governments viciously continue human rights abuses without fear of international reprisals. Many are laid in unmarked graves and their families are left homeless.

These are courageous followers of Jesus Christ who refuse to recant their faith in the gospel.

You are invited to join us this Sunday at 10:15am at the Church at Lee Heights for the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. You will hear personally via letter from Saied Ziadah. He is a Baptist pastor in Syria who bravely leads his church in this war torn volatile country at the risk of his own life and family.

For more information on the persecuted church and how you can become involved visit the Voice of the Martyr’s website. Here you can sign up for a free monthly magazine and even write prisoners of conscience around the world to encourage them in their native language.
